Army to hold open recruitment rally

Chandigarh, Jun 19 (UNI) Army Recruitment Office, Ambala Cantt has decided to organise an open recruitment rally from July 1 to 6 at Karan Stadium Karnal for the youth of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Panipat, and Sonepat.

Stating this here today, an official spokesman said as per the category-wise schedule, on July 1, the districts of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Panipat, and Sonepat would be covered for recruiting Sikh candidates both Majhabi and Ramdasia and Gorkha candidate for Soldier General Duty Category.

He said on July 2, the districts of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Panipat, and Sonepat would be covered for recruiting Sikh candidates only for Soldier General Duty Category.

On July 3, the districts of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Chandigarh, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Panipat, and Sonepat would be covered for recruiting Sikh and both Majhabi and Ramdasia candidates who were sons of servicemen, ex-servicemen, widows, war widows and NCC Sports Certificate holders only for Soldier General Duty Category.

On July 3, the recruitment of Soldier Technical would be carried out for all categories for the youth of Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Yamunangar, Panchkula and Chandigarh.

On July 4, the recruitment for Soldier Clerk would be carried out for the districts of Ambala, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panchkula and Chandigarh for all categories and on July 5, the recruitment of Soldier Clerk would be carried out for the districts of Rohtak, Jhajjar, Panipat and Sonepat for all categories.

He said that the written test for those candidates, who would clear medical examination would be held for Soldier General Duty on July 27 and for Soldier Clerk on August 31 at Ambala and the result would be declared at Army Recruiting Office, Ambala and published in the newspapers.
