4 railway employees killed as truck overturns

Kanpur, Jun 19 (UNI) At least four railway employees were killed and two others injured after their truck overturned in Chaubepur area here today.

The accident occurred on G T Road near Imalia village, when the driver of an Eastern Railways truck, loaded with goods and coming from Kaasgang, lost control over its wheels.

Ram Prayas died on the spot, while Ramnath, Lala and Kallu succumbed later in hospital, police said.

The condition of two others was stated serious.

All the employees were residents of railway coloney in Kaasgang.

The bodies had been sent for post-mortem.
