Two smugglers held with cocaine worth lakhs

Lucknow, Jun 18 (UNI) A joint team of police and Special Operation Group (SOG) today arrested two smugglers and seized 550 gms of cocaine from them in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh.

The drugs was estimated at Rs 60 lakh in the international market.

The team nabbed Shivnath and Subhash during vehicle checking in Ikdil area and recovered the narcotic substance from their possession, police said.

Duo were indulged in the crime since three months and were bringing the substance from Kanpur.

Etawah SSP has announced a reward of Rs 2,500 each to the team.
