Two get death sentence, ten life term in abduction case

Buxar, Jun 18 (UNI) A local fast track court today awarded death sentence to two accused and life imprisonment to ten others in an abduction case.

Fast track court judge Anil Kumar Srivastav found all the accused guilty of kidnapping Dinbandhu and Pappu Mishra, local businessmen, and awarded capital punishment to Krishna Singh and Jawahar, while ten others were awarded life imprisonment in the same case.

Assistant Public Prosecutor(APP) Radhe Shyam Mishra said the court awarded death sentence to the two accused - Krishna Singh and Jawahar - as they were found guilty under Section 364-A of the Indian Penal Code.

According to the charges, the convicts had kidnapped the brother duo for ransom from Rajpur police station in the district last year. Later, they were, however, rescued by police.
