TTD staff serve dharna notice
Tirupati, June 18 (UNI) Demanding fulfillment of their 21-point charter of demands by June 25, the Employees Association of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) today served a mass dharna notice on the management.
Leaders of the TTD Employees Association threatened to go on a mass dharna in front of the TTD administrative building in Tirupati from June 26.
A delegation, comprising union leaders and various department heads, served the dharna notice alongwith a long list of their demands, including provision of house sites and promotions, to TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary.
They also demanded that the management cut off the unnecessary spending on progammes and increase its investment in bank fixed deposits.
