TSI among 3 suspended for extortion

Agra, Jun 18: Three policemen, including a Traffic Sub-Inspector (TSI), have been supended for extortion of money from a chauffeur here.

According to police today, TSI Sunil Kumar Tripathi, constable Rishipal Singh and Mohan Singh were found guilty of thrashing the driver and snatching Rs 12,000 from him on the night of June 16.

Taking the matter seriously, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) suspended the trio with immediate effect.
