Six IAS transferred in UP

Lucknow, June 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government tonight transferred six Indian Administrative Services (IAS) officials in the state, of which four were on the waiting list.

Sports and youth welfare department director general and principle secretary Pankaj Agarwal has been shifted to Planning department, whereas principle secretary religious affairs A K Joshi sent to minority welfare department in the same capacity.

Shambhu Nath Shukla and S K Verma, who were awaiting posting has been made secretary rural development department and managing director UPSIDC, Kanpur respectively, whereas another waiting officials Sanjay Prasad and Dr Hari Om were made special secretaries Public Works department and Agricultural production commission respectively.
