PNB net zooms 35.1 pc at Rs 2203 cr

New Delhi, Jun 18: Punjab National Bank today said its net profit has zoomed 35.1 per cent to Rs 2,203.09 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 as compared to Rs 1,630.05 crore in the corresponding period last year.

The total income also surged 26.2 per cent to Rs 16,653.72 crore for the year ended March 31, 2008 from Rs 13,187.40 crore.
