Pakistani hand grenade, explosives recovered in J
Jammu, June 18 (UNI) Security forces today recovered a Pakistani hand grenade and 1.5-kilograms of explosive from twin districts of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources here said.
''A joint operation was launched by 2/8 Garhwal Rifles under the aegis of 25 Infantry division and they recovered one Chinese pistol, one Pakistan hand grenade in Chamoli area of Krishana Ghati in Poonch district last night,'' sources said.
Meanwhile based on specific information, the troops of 48 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in Kandi area of Rajouri district.
''One Chinese pistol, 12 Chinese hand grenades, 8 UBGL grenades, 1.5 kg of explosive and other miscellaneous stores were recovered from the site,'' sources said.
