National Challenger Rowing Championship begins tomorrow

Bangalore, June 18 (UNI) In all 14 teams will be vying for top honours in the 11th Sub-Junior and 13th Challenger National rowing Championship beginning at Ulsoor lake here from tomorrow.

The contestants include 13 teams from different States and the team from Core of Engineers Rowing Association.

Talking to newspersons MEG and Centre Commandant Brig R M Mittal said that each state team would comprise of a Sub-Junior Boys and Girls teams as well as the Senior Teams.

The categories in National Championship include Single Scull, Double Scull, Pairs, Coxless Fours and Fours.
