MNS asks colleges to give priority to Marathi students
Mumbai, Jun 18 (UNI) After demanding jobs for locals, Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has fired another salvo, asking colleges to give priority to local Marathi students, in the ongoing admissions in their institutions.
Letters to this effect were issued by students' wing of MNS to the colleges, especially urging the minority colleges in the city to give preference to the Marathi students.
MNS spokesman Shirish Parkar told UNI that their students' wing has taken up the task of getting admission for Marathi-speaking students.
