JKPCC earn Rs two crore profit, Rs 2050 crore work under execution

Srinagar, Jun 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Project Construction Corporation (JKPCC) has earned a net profit of Rs two crores while 431 works are presently under execution at an estimated cost of Rs 2050 crore, an official spokesman said today.

This information was given at the 83rd Board of Directors meeting of JKPCC held under the Chairmanship of Minister for Roads and Building (R&B) Jugal Kishore Sharma.

In the meeting it was told that 431 works of JKPCC here presently under execution in the state at an estimated cost of Rs 2050 crore.

It also disclosed that the Corporation had earned a profit of Rs 2 crore during the last financial year.

It decided to enhance leave salary of corporation employees to 300 days against present 120 days, he said adding the committee also approved the creation of three administrative operation units at the newly created districts of Kishtwar, Reasi and Bandipora.

The creation of these administrative units would give a fillip to the developmental activities going on in these districts.
