Hindus should form suicide squads: Thackeray

{image-bal thackery_18062008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mumbai, June 18: In its strongest ever Hindutva rhetoric, Shiv Sena on Wednesday asked Hindu fundamentalists to come together and form “suicide squads" saying that the Islamic terrorism has reached its pinnacle and hence should be targeted.

In an editorial published in the party mouthpiece 'Saamana" today, party supremo Bal Thackeray rued that in the Thane bomb blasts several Hindus were injured (something caused by Hindus themselves). Thackeray went on to say that, instead, Hindus should attack Bangladeshi concentrated areas of Mumbai. This is not the first time that Thackeray has called for the formation of such suicide squads. This time however, he has been criticised by the RSS which said that Hindu scriptures give no sacntion for terrorist activities. The Thackeray editorial also draws its significance in view of the Maharashtra assembly election that is to be held early next year.
