Four arrested in grocery shop fire case
Tiruchirapalli, Jun 18 (UNI) The Crime Branch CID police arrested four people on various charges, inclduing setting afire to a grocery shop, Superintendent of Police, CB-CID (South zone) A Arun said.
N Kannaiyah (62), his sons K Kumar (36) and K Elango (26), hailing from Namanasamuthiram in Pudukottai district, and M Mageswaran (36) of Kottaikottai also in Pudukottai district were held yesterday, the police official said.
The four were held for concealing facts and providing false information to the police relating to the death of one Mahalingam in a fire at the grocery shop in Tirumayam in Pudukottai district in March last year, he added.
