Chargesheets against five more in BPSC scam
Patna, Jun 18 (UNI) The Bihar state vigilance investigation bureau today submitted chargesheets in a special court against five more people in the much-hyped case of irregularities in conducting the first limited competitive examination, 2003.
The examination was conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
The chargesheets were submitted under various sections of the India Penal Code (IPC) and the Prevention of Corruption Act against the five accused in the court of designated Judge S K Panwar.
All the chargesheeted accused were candidates in the examination.
The case was relating to irregularities and illegalities committed in the first limited competitive examination, 2003, for the appointment of 184 deputy collectors in Bihar.
The bureau had earlier submitted chargesheets in the case against 104 people, including former BPSC chairpersons Dr Ram Singhasan Singh and Ms Razia Tabassum.
