CBI Jt Director dead
New Delhi, Jun 18 (UNI) The Central Bureau of Investigation's Joint Director H C Singh died of a heart attack in the Kolkata office of the agency this afternoon. He was 56.
According to the agency's spokesperson, Singh was on duty in the Kolkata office when he breathed his last.
Singh is survived by his wife and a son.
Singh joined the central agency in 1978 as DSP and later served in various positions like the SP, STF, DIG(Training), Assistant Director, Interpol, and was presently serving as Joint Director (East) at Kolkata.
Before being transferred to Kolkata five-six months ago, he was posted as DIG(Training) at Ghaziabad.
