Three arrested with fake currency in Punjab
Jalandhar, Jun 17 (UNI) The Punjab Police today nabbed three persons, including a dismissed police constable with Rs 25,000 counterfiet Indian currency notes in the city.
According to police officials the three were nabbed near BSF Chowk during routine checking.They were identified as Sartaj Singh, Joginder Singh and Sarabjit Singh, a dismissed cop.
The three during preliminary interrogation admitted that a few days back they had sold around Rs one lakh counterfiet notes for genuine currency to buyers. The main kingpin, Jaswinder Singh is still at large.
