Governor watches 'Khuda Key Liye'
Srinagar, Jun 17 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir governor Lt General (retd) S K Sinha watched Pakistani film Khuda Key Liye' last evening, official spokesman said.
He said the film was screened in Chiar theater of the Army in the Badamibagh cantonment, headquarters of 15 Corps.
This is for the first time since partition, a Pakistani film was screened in an Army cinema hall.
The Governor appreciated the film and said it has a very powerful theme, relevant in the present strife-torn world.
He complimented producer of the film and its actors for this bold initiative.
The film was screened in less than a month after Pakistani band Junoon performed before thousands of people on the bank of famed Dal Lake despite objections by separatist organisations.
