Father-son held for cheating people

Jaunpur, Jun 17 (UNI) City police today apprehended a man and his son for cheating people promising them to provide job in the railways department.

Acting on a complaint, police nabbed the father-son duo. Forged documents, stamps, identity cards and Train Ticket Examiner (TTE) batches were also seized from their possession, police said.

The arrested used to defraud people by accepting Rs one lakh from each person with a promise to provide job in the railway department.

On interrogation, the duo confessed that they have till now accepted Rs 50 lakh from people.
