CM forms committee to look into attack on journalists

Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) Consequent to the attack on the residence of Loksatta editor Kumar Ketkar in Thane recently, Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has formed a committee comprising bureaucrats, journalists and others to look into such incidents.

The committee would be headed by Minister of State for Information Rajendra Shingane, Additional Chief Secretary (home), Information Secretary, DGP, CP presidents of seven journalist unions and three nominated non-governmental members.
