Chhattisgarh HC rules against Lafarge
Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, Jun 17 (UNI) The Chhattisgarh High Court today ruled that acquisition of agricultural land in nine villages of Raipur district's Bhatapara area for a railway route by the cement company Lafarge did not come in the domain of public interest.
Justice Dhirendra Mishra heard a plea by Tulsiram and Vishambhar.
The company was represented by Supreme Court advocate and Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad while Meena Shastri argued for the petitioners.
