BJP more concerned about common man: Gadkari
Mumbai, Jun 17 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP president Nitin Gadkari today claimed that his party was the only one to look after the betterment of the 'aam admi'.
Maharashtra and other non-BJP ruled states were lagging behind miserably in the implementation of employment guarantee scheme, he alleged in a release here.
Although EGS was formulated in the state, the UPA government accorded just 47.85 per cent marks to Maharashtra for its implementation. On the contrary, Rajasthan, a BJP-ruled state, got 124.79 per cent marks, while Communist-led West Bengal government got only 52.61 pc, indicating that BJP was looking after the betterment of the common man.
