2 killed, 3 injured in accident
Nashik, Jun 17 (UNI) Two persons were killed and three sustained injuries today after a tanker collided with a truck near Sahyadri Nagar on Mumbai-Agra National Highway number three here.
The deceased have been identified as Vijay Shankar Verma (40) resident of Nahsik Road and Ravindra Barve (22) resident of Chalisgaon taluka in Jalgaon district. They were on their way to Mumbai from Nashik and the truck from Mumbai was moving towards Nashik when the accident occurred at around 0130 hrs. The duo, who were travelling in the tanker, died on the spot.
Three others injured, including the truck-driver were rushed to Nashik District Civil Hospital.
