ZEE Entertainment FY08 net up 77.55% at Rs 295.12 cr

New Delhi, Jun 16 (UNI) Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd today said its net profit has increased 77.55 per cent to Rs 295.12 crore for the year ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 166.21 crore for the previous fiscal.

Total income increased 23.11 per cent to Rs 1,143.92 crore for FY08 from Rs 929.14 crore for FY07.

The Group's net profit jumped 70.99 per cent to Rs 416.06 crore for the year ended March 2008 as compared to Rs 243.32 crore for the previous fiscal.

The Group's total revenue increased 22.54 per cent to Rs 1,949.18 crore for FY08 from Rs 1,590.61 crore for FY07.
