Reference rate fixed at Rs 42.90 per USD, up by 3 paise

Mumbai, Jun 16 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today fixed the reference rate for US Dollar at Rs 42.90 per unit, up by three paise from its Friday's rate of Rs 42.87 per USD.

The reference rate for Euro was quoted twelve paise down at Rs 65.99 per unit, against Friday's rate of Rs 66.11.

The exchange rates for Pound and Japanese Yen against the Rupee were quoted low at Rs 83.7687 (83.4122) per Pound and Rs 39.59 (39.71) per 100 units respectively, data received by Reserve Bank of India stated.
