Oman Air launches its flight from Muscat to Bangalore
Bangalore, Jun 16 (UNI) Oman Air today launched a five times a week flight each way to Bangalore from Muscat opening up new opportunities for people travelling between the gulf and Southern region.
Announcing this to newsmen here Oman Air Country Manager (India) Mohammed Salim Al Baluchi said India's travel business connection was strong and travel demand in recent years had grown at impressive rates. Travellers from Bangalore could also have the advantage of using Muscat's tourist destinations. 'We expect a lot of software professionals and tourists to utilise the new service facility', he added.
Replying to queries he said the Oman Air planned to add two more Boeing Aircraft 737 to its fleet this year followed by five more during next year. The Airlines had not curtailed its plan due to hike in aviation fuel prices.
