Oman Air launches flight from Muscat to Bangalore
Bangalore, Jun 16 (UNI) Oman Air today launched its service to Bangalore from Muscat, opening up new opportunities for people travelling between the Gulf and the Southern region.
Announcing this to mediapersons here, Oman Air Country Manager (India) Mohammed Salim Al Baluchi said the company will operate flights five times a week in the new route.
India's travel business connection is strong and travel demand in recent years has increased at impressive rates. Travellers from Bangalore could also have the advantage of using Muscat's tourist destinations, he added.
Replying to queries he said the Oman Air has planned to add two more Boeing Aircraft 737 to its fleet this year followed by five more during next year. The airlines has not curtailed its plan due to hike in aviation fuel prices, he said.
