London, June 16 : A 16-year-old girl won a lottery prize shortly after surviving being hit by a lightening bolt.
BreAnna, of Blanchard, Michigan, was struck by a bolt of electricity when she tried to close a window during a storm.
The doctors who treated her burns said she was lucky to be alive and should buy a scratchcard.
Mum Linda got one on their journey home and the lucky girl won 10 pounds as a lottery prize.
"Everyone said I must be really lucky. I guess I am," The Sun quoted BreAnna, as saying.
