Gold October 08 contract up

Mumbai, Jun 16 (UNI) Gold October 08 contract gained by 0.91 per cent at Rs 12,276 per 10 gm and Gold August 08 contract also moved up by 0.79 per cent to Rs 12,245 per 10 gm, at the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) today.

Silver July 08 contract also shot up by 0.88 per cent to Rs 23,645 per kg.

In metals, Aluminium June 08 contract gained by 1.32 per cent at Rs 126.45 per kg, Copper June 08 contract by 1.43 per cent to Rs 344.10 per kg and Lead July 08 contract lost by 1.40 per cent to Rs 77.20 per kg.

All mentha oil contracts flared up, August 08 contract being up by 3.94 per cent to Rs 507.10 per kg. Jute September 08 contract receded by 0.46 per cent to Rs 1,632.50 per quintal. Tin June 08 contract was up by 4 per cent to Rs 896.50 per kg and crude oil October 08 contract was down by 1.52 per cent to Rs 5,751 per barrel, an MCX release said.
