Commission warns stern action
Tirupati, Jun 15 (UNI) Stern action will be taken against those who involved in atrocity cases and filed false counter cases against SCs, and STs, SC and ST Commission Chairman Nagarjuna said today.
Addressing a press conference here after a review meeting with concerned district officials on various welfare schemes and constitutional rights to the SCs and STs here, he said as many as 4,026 atrocity cases were registered at various police stations during the last one and half years in the state.
He alleged that the authorities of the TTD-run Vedapatsala were showing discrimination on admissions to SC and ST students.
