Reliance launches Yuva Pack for Punjabi youth

Chandigarh, Jun 15 (UNI) In a move that can revolutionise telecom services in Punjab, Reliance Communications today launched Prepaid Yuva Pack for its youth segment in the Punjab Circle at Rs 197.

This pack has brought down the call rates in Punjab by more than 50 per cent from Reliance Mobile to any phone. The subscriber can make calls to any phone within the border state at 50 paise per minute and STD calls to any phone across the nation at Re one per minute for one year after subscription.

Available on the first recharge of Rs 197, this Yuva pack can be activated with Get Started Kit 99 or Grameen pack 49.

Yuva pack is not confined to a particular handset of Reliance Communications, and hence youngsters can choose any handset from the vast range of BlackBerry, HTC, Nokia, Motorola, LG and Classic handsets available with the Reliance network.

While speaking on the launch of Yuva pack, Reliance Communications Punjab Circle's Chief Executive Officer Sanjeev Garg said, ''this value for money pack for youngsters, available at only Rs 197 is going to change the way youth of today talks on a mobile phone.'' The subscriber can load special SMS pack of Rs 25 and can get 1,000 local SMS free for 30 days. All these benefits will be available to them for one year without the need of using any special tariff voucher for this reduced tariff.
