Two-day national conference on higher education to begin on June 17
Shillong, June 14 (UNI) The Shillong College will organise a two-day national conference on 'Impact of Assessment and Accreditation of Institutions of Higher Education in India' on June 17.
Official sources said here today that Meghalaya Chief Minister Dr Donkupar Roy will attend the inaugural function as the chief guest while state Chief Secretary Ranjan Chatterjee will be the guest of honour.
The conference, organised to commemorate 60 years of Independence, will be attended by more than 40 delegates from across the country.
The conference is being sponsored by a number of Central agencies, including National University of Educational Planning and Administration, New Delhi, North Eastern Council (NEC), University Grants Commission (NE region), Guwahati, and Indian Council of Social Sciences Research, New Delhi.
