Police Inspector line attached

Satna(MP), June 14: Police Inspector Balbir Singh Jaggi, posted at Kotwali here, has been line attached for 'misbehaving' with journalists engaged in news coverage of a demonstration following a Dalit youth's murder, official sources said today.

Additional Collector R V Choube is inquiring into the June 9 incident wherein the journalists were assaulted and roughed up by policemen in Sohawal area here.

Journalists here have been boycotting all government programmes, including that of the Chief Minister, demanding action against the police officer.
