Bangalore, Jun 14(UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the Weather Office here at 0830hrs today.

Monsoon was weak over North Interior Karnataka Rainfall occurred at most places over Coastal Karnataka; at few places over South Interior Karnataka and at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

Heavy amounts of rainfall(cm): Kota, Agumbe 10 each, Kollur 8, Sringeri, Kammardi 7.

Other chief amounts of rainfall (cm): Kundapur, Gerusoppa 5 each, Karkala, Shirali, Kadra 4 each, Panambur, Dharmasthala, Ankola, Karwar, Sirsi 3 each, Bhatkal, Honavar, Joida, Bhagamandala, Humchadakatte, Linganamakki, Talaguppa, Balehonnur, N.R.Pura, Lakkavalli, Sakleshpura 2 each.

Forecast valid until Monday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at many places over Coastal Karnataka and at a few places over Interior Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Moderate to rather heavy rain likely to occur at many places over all the districts of Coastal Karnataka.

Light to moderate rain likely to occur at a few places over all the districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Heavy Rainfall Warning: Heavy rain may occur at isolated places over Coastal Karnataka and ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka during next 48 hours.

Fisheries Warning: Strong onshore winds mainly from westerly to southwesterly direction speed occasionally reaching 45 to 55 kmph likely along off Karnataka coast.

Local forecast: Generally cloudy sky. Surface winds will be strong and gusty at times. Rain likely.
