Jet connects Mumbai-Shanghai-sanfranscisco

Mumbai, Jun 14 (UNI) Jet airways, today commenced its daily service from Mumbai to Sanfrancisco via Shanghai and achieved the distinction of becoming the first Indian carrier to operate daily non-stop flights on this route.

The flight 777-3--ER 9W210 left Mumbai at 1115 hrs and would arrive at Shanghai at 1945 hrs and will leave that destination for Sanfrancisco at 2145 hrs and will arrive at Sanfrancisco at 1815 hrs.

The return 9w209 will depart at San Francisco at 2045 ad would arrive at Shanghai at 0130 hrs and would depart for Mumbai after two hours stay and would arrive at Mumbai at 0825 hrs.

There were 32 business class and 274 economy class passengers on the flight. US Consul General Michael Own and Consul General Zhang Weieuo Chinese were also present on the occasion apart from Jet Exectuve Director S K Datta, CEO Jet Wolfgang Prock-Schaeur.
