Five killed, 25 injured in road accident
Katihar, Jun 14 (UNI) Altogether five people were killed and 25 injured when a bus carrying a marraige party overturned near Rampur village udner Kursela police station in the district late last night.
Police today said a mini bus carrying about 40 people from Dilawarpur village in the district to Kharik-Luqmanpur in Bhagalpur district overturned near Rampur village, killing five of them on the spot, while at least 25 sustained serious injuries.
The injured were rushed to local hospitals, where the condition of eight was stated to be critical.
They were later referred to the nearby Purnia Sadar hospital, police added.
