Cong allegations does not hold water: Mishra

Gwalior, Jun 14 (UNI) Rejecting corruption-related allegations levelled by the Congress on Madhya Pradesh Ministers, Water Resource Minister Anoop Mishra today claimed that the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government is clean and has come up to expectations of people.

''The Congress must look at itself before levelling charges on others. In its rule, 22 Ministers were facing charges of corruption and their cases were with the Lokayukt,'' Mr Mishra said, adding that none of the charges against BJP Ministers had been proved.

He said the Congress was levelling allegations against the then Health Minister Ajay Vishnoi, who has no corruption charges against him and had resigned on moral grounds so that no one could point fingers on the government.

Mr Mishra challenged Congress leaders for an open debate in this matter. He added he was ready for any debate in this regard.
