Antony condoles veteran CPI leader's death
Kochi, Jun 14 (UNI) Union Defence Minister A K Antony today condoled the death of his Former State Cabinet Colleague and Veteran CPI Leader J Chitharanjan, who died in Thiruvananthapuram last night.
In a statement here, Mr Antony described Mr Chitharanjan as a selfless politician and respected trade union leader.
Mr Chitharanjan was the State Health Minister in Mr Antony's Cabinet from 1987 to 1988.
