Antony attends father's 50th death anniversary function

Alappuzha, Jun 14 (UNI) Union Defence Minister A K Antony today visited his ancestral house in his native town Cherthala to take part in the ceremonies related with the 50th death anniversary of his father A Kurian.

Mr Antony, who arrived in the morning with his wife, attended a special service at Muttam St Mary's Forona Church, Cherthala. He later took part in the feast held at his house near the Church.

The defence minister parried questions from newspersons, saying ''no politics today.'' Later, he left for Nedumbaserry International Airport to go to Bangalore.
