New Delhi, Jun 14 (UNI) Aarushi murder accused Dr Rajesh Talwar's compounder Krishna was today sent to three-day CBI custody remand.

A district court in Ghaziabad today granted three-day police custody remand to the CBI even as it asked for a 14-day remand, said the CBI.

Krishna would be produced before the Special Magistrate for CBI cases at Ghaziabad on June 17, after the remand expires.

Earlier in the day a CBI team conducted searches at the Jalvayu Vihar residence of Krishna in Noida Sector 25.

Some clothes and other materials were gathered which have been sent for forensic examination, the CBI added.

Krishna was arrested yesterday after being brought to Delhi the previous night from Bangalore.

On June 11, after nine days of detention, the CBI admitted for the first time that Krishna alias Kishan had been subjected to 'various tests' to verify the various contradictions found in his statements given to the Noida police.

He was later taken to Bangalore for ''further tests''.

Krishna had been picked up by the CBI soon after it took over the case from the Noida Police on June 1.

Aarushi's body was found in her house on May 16 and the police had immediately suspected domestic help Hemraj as the prime suspect.
