Two women murdered by their husbands in K'taka

Mysore, Jun 13 (UNI) Two women were murdered in a separate incidents by their husbands in the Mysore taluk since last night.

Police said that in the first incident Jayalakshmi (28) wife of Somachari of Yaadahalli, who was an alcoholic, stabbed her to death.

He used to torture her for a long time. Later he surrendered to the police.

In another case Jothy (28) wife of Chandra of Metahalli village was stabbed to death by her husband over a matter concerning her fidelity. After stabbing the husband escaped only to be nabbed by the police later.
