Rowling bends the rules while writing tale for charity
Washington, June 13 : 'Harry Potter' creator J. K. Rowling could not confine herself to just one side of a sheet while scribbling a tale for an auction of story cards this week.
All other writers who contributed to the auction at Waterstone's wrote their tales on a side of A5 sheet.
According to reports, Rowling was the only one to write her prequel on both sides.
However, the organisers of the auction did not reject her donation.
"We weren't going to reject her donation as it was obviously great that she did it," the Daily Express quoted one of the organisers as saying.
Rowling's story card fetched 25,000 pounds, the organiser revealed.
Other authors to write stories for the auction included Tom Stoppard, Sebastian Faulks, Doris Lessing, Nick Hornby, and Margaret Atwood.
