Relatives of Uphaar victims hold prayer meet

New Delhi, Jun 13 (UNI) The Association of the Victims of Uphaar Tragedy (AVUT) today held a havan opposite Uphaar Cinema in memory of the 59 lives lost this date 11 years ago.

The commemorative function of 11th death anniversay was attended by the kins of the dead. They resolved to punish the guilty of the fire incident.

The legal case is with the courts. Although sentenced, the cinema hall owners have been on the bail.

The AVUT office bearers resolved to take the case to the logical conclusion today, expressing disappointment with the verdict.
