QNS to expand business to Bangalore and Gurgaon, invest Rs 120 cr
Kolkata, Jun 13 (UNI) Quick N Safe (QNS), one of the logistics majors in Eastern India, has decided to expand business in northern and southern India with an investment of Rs 120 crore to become a Rs 500 crore company by FY 2011/12.
Company's Chairman-cum-Managing Director Vinod Kumar Jha while launching QNS's vision to become the " Most Preferred Logistics Company of the Country" today said besides Kolkata, they have planned to expand business in Bangalore and Gurgaon with new products and specialised customised services to reach some 100 cities across the country.
With business turnover of Rs 50 crore in FY 2007-08 and expecting to cross Rs 100 crore this fiscal, the QNS realising potential in the contract logistics market decided to launch new packages beyond transportation of products and raw materials like warehousing.
Mr Jha said the company was in the process to own assets in the form of Container Freight Stations (CFS), Inland Container Depots (ICD) and container trains acorss the country.
QNS now having PAN India network with five super hubs, 8 major hubs, and five mini hubs and close to 200 direct service locations across the country.
