Medicos seek reservation in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, Jun 13: The Tamil Nadu Medicos Welfare Association today urged the State Government to provide them five per cent reservation within the quota for the Backward Classes.

In a statement here, the Association said the Government could provide quota for them also on the lines of those given to the Arunthathiyars, Christians and Muslims.

Ensuring five per cent quota would help them to gain access to quality education and improve the standard of living, it said.
