Indiri will be upgraded to sub-division level: Hooda

Indiri, Jun 13 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today announced that Indiri would be upgraded to the level of Sub-division besides allocating Rs 10 lakh for the development of each village of this constituency.

The Chief Minister was addressing a thanksgiving rally here after the success of the Congress in quelling the Haryana Janhit Congress in the three recent Assembly byelections.

Referring to the results of byelections, Mr Hooda said these elections were an indication of future politics in this state and on the basis of this result, it could be easily said that in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, the Congress would definitely win all the ten parliamentary seats of the state.

Flaying the earlier government of Mr Om Prakash Chautala, the Chief Minister said no party has made as much development in the state as the Congress has done.

Mr Hooda questioned the farmers whether they had ever got such high remunerative prices of their produce like wheat, sugarcane and paddy.

He said an interest waiving scheme involving Rs 830 crore was launched in this state for the benefit of small and marginal farmers.

The Chief Minister also announced to set up a 132 KV power sub-station at nearby Ramba village to fulfill the power requirements of the people here.

HPCC working president Kuldeep Sharma and Education Minister H S Chatha were also present at the rally.
