Gang of autolifters busted

New Delhi, June 13 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted an interstate-gang of autolifters with the arrest of 13 people, including eight receivers, from various parts of Delhi, UP and Haryana.

Police recovered 13 stolen vehicles from them besides a countrymade pistol, two live cartridges and two button knives.

They had been stealing vehicles from different locations and parking lots in Delhi and used to dispose them off in Meerut.

All the accused had been previously involved in another case of autotheft.
