Five get life term in advocate murder case

Begusarai, Jun 13 (UNI) A fast track court of Dayashankar Singh today awarded life imprisonment to five accused in connection with the murder of a senior advocate Virendra Mahto.

After hearing both the parties, the court gave the punishment to the five and slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 against each of them. All the accused belonged to Parbanda village of the district.

According to the charges the accused had shot dead the lawyer in the town on October 20, 1996.
