FIR against Bihar minister Narendra Singh

Jamui, Jun 13 (UNI) A criminal case was today lodged against Bihar Food and Civil Supply Minister Narendra Singh and his son Abhay Singh, MLA, in connection with assault, cheating and wrongfully restraining a person, at Sono police station here.

According to police, the case was lodged on the basis of the complaint made by BJP MLA from Chakai Assembly segment Phalguni Yadav on May 28. In his complaint Mr Yadav had alleged that during an official function at Balthar, the minister and his son along with some other people had pushed him down from the dias in which his limb bones were fractured.

The complaint of Mr Yadav further read that the minister, his son and other people snatched his golden chain and some cash.

On the basis of the written complaint, an FIR was lodged at Sono police station against the minister, his son and some unknown people under various acts including 341,323 and 379 of IPC.
