Extradited gangsters re-arrested in more cases
Kaithal, Jun 13 (UNI) Three gangsters of the notorious Geong gang, recently extradited from South Africa, have been re-arrested in number of other cases in which they had been declared proclaimed offenders, SSP Anil Kumar Rao said here today.
Joginder Geong, Baljit Badsikri and Surinder Pehalwan of Surendra Geong gang, wanted in Narinder Arora murder case and given police remand, had revealed valuable information about their involvement in more than dozen cases of murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping, extortion and other crimes in various parts of the state and even in neighbouring states of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, the SSP told newspersons.
He said as the accused were wanted by Ambala, Jind, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Uttar Pradesh and Panjab police for their alleged involvement in cases registered at these places and the authorities had been informed about the arrest of these criminals.
